Angelica
Angelica Panganiban was born in the Philippines. She is a Filipino American performer, comedian, television host and model. She is regarded as the new Queen of Drama in various media publications, Panganiban is regarded as being among the most skilled and experienced actresses from the Philippines. They finished with a second place, becoming the youngest finalist in the show's history. Angelica Hale fell ill at age 4 with strep throat and pneumonia due to an infection caused by a bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston put her on ECMO support for lifesaving treatment. Her condition became severe and she experienced several organ failures, including the kidneys that did not recover. She was forced to adapt her life around hemodialysis, and later on peritoneal dialysate. After spending 80 consecutive days in hospital, from death to recovery she finally got home, however the course of her life changed forever. After a year and a half of dialysis, Angelica was able to undergo the largest surgery of her life-her kidney transplant. Angelica's mom was the only one with the ability to give a kidney. Angelica and mom had an operation that was successful on 13 September 2013. The surgery was performed at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals located across from each other. Angelica Hale has been pursuing her dream of becoming a star ever since.
